I didn't make any resolutions in 2014, as I wanted to focus on achieving 2013's goals. I'm hoping to do an evaluation of how many of these I manage to
achieve by the end of the year. I'm really optimistic at the moment, but come December we'll
see how well I've done... ;)
I like this!
ReplyDeleteI hardly make resolutions you know but I have some goals I've been working with since I was in the university so what I do is fine tune them or modify as needed.
Cheers to the new year.
I really got into making lists this last year. I even bought a small notebook and wrote things in it all the time, and I realised that I was good at ticking things off, so I thought I'd do the same this year, and like you keep fine-tuning.
ReplyDeleteBe cheesy, have fun....my plans too. There is so much I would like to do and i hope i get half of it done. This post for me is a reminder of things that need doing. I wouldn't say i made resolutions but i do plan to do as much as i can. A new post up on mein blog und ich habe dich erwähnt

ReplyDeleteSometimes it pays to leave the serious behind and just live life!
DeleteUnd Ich weiss, Ich sah es. Can't believe I could understand you and reply in German too! Thanks for making me practise Lehrerin :)
I hadn't actually seen it. For some reason it didn't update on my blog before...off to read now!
DeleteYou tried sef! Ahahha....I seldom make and keep to my resolutions. Hopefully, 2015 will be different, because, I can see a fraction of changes since I started few hours ago...once again, happy new year :D
ReplyDeleteNitty.
Amen to 2015 being different (and better!). Happy birthday Nitty, hope 41 is treating you well so far.

ReplyDeleteHi Clara, I am so glad you are optimistic...and please don't be hard on yourself if you fail. You don't fail unless you give up entirely. Thank you so much for sharing. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the encouragement Linda! I'm hoping there'll be more success than this year, but you know I think I'll also try to remain pragmatic.
DeleteHave a lovely week! X
Hallo Clara!
Xoxo,
La Deutsche Diva
P.S. I found the "Failed" assessments quite funny! You did quite a lot, I failed a few from last year myself (mainly the fitness goals).
Hi Shahidah!
DeleteThanks for visiting. Ediyemade also posted a link of your blog once and I had a quick glimpse but forgot about it again, so thanks for leaving a comment...I can save you address and exercise my weak German muscles on your blog!
As for the goals, I kind of think it pays to be really honest when evaluating my achievements, but I am always realistic and pragmatic. I know some goals will become invalid and others will not be achieved because I go sidetracked with other more important, or even just more fun things...
Anyways, have a lovely week.

I admire your honesty on this. I smiled when I saw that some goals will not be renewed. Way to go! March in 2015 with momentum!
ReplyDeleteThanks Timi.
DeleteI figured it's a good idea to be honest with oneself from time to time and revaluate, especially since I know I can be a bit of a magpie (picking up whatever goal seems shiny!).
I hardly make new year resolutions cos I find it difficult keeping them, so I draw plans and goals instead
ReplyDeleteIt's my first time year and you have a nice blog
Hay Esther,
DeleteThanks for dropping by!
As we can see from 2013's list, I'm not all that good at keeping goals either. However, I feel like having at least having something written down means that I can be a bit accountable.
Have a lovely week.
